This was expected and it just proves Florida was serious about committing it's very, very considerable resources to being a football powerhouse along with a top 5 academic school. Prehire coach Billy and UAA agreed on the method and amount of support needed to achieve this. Nowhere to climb but up now

Seems like Dan is a little disillusioned with the job right now. The program is different now then when he left in 2008. The school admin is not focused on football like it was. They are fine with winning just enough to keep fans in the seats then to compete with football factory's like Georgia and Alabama for championships

Dan's biggest problem is this is a different program then the one he left in 2008. Since then the UF administration has decided not to compete in the SEC arms race this half the recruiting and support budget as Georgia or Bama. The would rather focus on top 5 academics and a well rounded athletic program than being a football factory. The results over the last 10+ years are evident
