While it was an ugly game, I would not panic just yet. The early throws were to receivers that were covered pretty tight. I kept waiting for them to send someone long and just let it fly in an attempt to get the safeties out of the box. I hope at some point they will swap out the vanilla for something a little more exciting once in a while. They need to stick with the bread and butter power run game primarily, but they also need to put the fear of the long pass in the back of the defense's mind. The slight hesitation that it may cause could be the make or break in a game. .
