I wasn't surprised by the year South Carolina had. I said all along once I saw the schedule they would win 6 games 7 if they get one big upset. They got their 6 wins in the regular season just not by beating the teams I expected. However it's still 6 wins and they got to 7 with the bowl win. By me saying this doesn't diminish in my eyes the leaps this program made this year. I think it just goes to show Beamer is who I thought he was. Hopfully he continues to build on this season and is around for several years if not decades to come. The one think I didn't expect was the bowl game performance. I was very pleased and impressed with what I saw from the bowl game. Looki g at next year's schedule without knowing who else we may add through the transfer portal I'd bump everything up by 2 games. I think they should win 7 games. They can win 8 games if they pull off an upset most people don't expect.. If Beamer can somehow win 8 games in the regular season then that would be huge.

Gamecock fan here and I couldn't agree more with you. They need to abandon the block C logo with the Gamecock in it and cover the whole side with the Gamecock itself. I've seen mick ups of a helmet like this and it's so great. No doubt everyone would know which team they were then. I can't understand why no coach has made a change in all these years.
