Grier's playing days at Florida were over long before he decided to transfer. It would have been complete chaos if Coach Mac would have named him starter for game 7. That just wasn't going to happen. Grier did what was best for himself and that was to leave Gainesville. It's time to turn the page and start developing Franks. As long as Treon Harris doesn't take another snap under center in 2016 Florida is more than fine at QB.
Too many openings and not nearly enough good candidates. If all that is left is Pruitt and Muschamp then my suggestion would be to leave Elliott in place next year and see who pops up the following year. Right now it looks like USC is really reaching.
Too funny! The fans at Florida are wishing the same thing!
30014, Is that really a Georgia fan chiming in about the last time a program was relevant? Look in the mirror. And as far as Muschamp goes, calling for his head was long overdue. He had 1 good season and took the offense and returned it to the dark ages! But what do you expect when you let a Bulldog run the Florida Football Program?
5 keys to Florida upsetting UGA: 1. Foley names a new head coach between now and kick off. 2. Tebow finds out he still has another year of eligibility left. 3. Georgia bus driver takes a wrong turn and Georgia never actually makes it to the stadium. 4. Earthquake happens in Jax and the entire Georgia football team is swallowed up. 5. I turn on my Playstation and march Florida to victory by 21. Bottom line is that as long as Chump roams the sidelines in Gainesville Florida will be Georgia's little sister. People have already forgotten that Florida had won 18 of 21 before Chump got here. But that's what happens when you put a Bulldog in Gator clothing!
Treon Harris is a big kid? Listed on the roster as 5'11 and 190 pounds. Not that rosters are ever exaggerated but I'm willing to bet he is 5'10" and 180 pounds. He looks pretty small on the field. We'll see if he's an upgrade @ QB. God knows he can't be any worse than Driskel. He has his work cut out for him for sure. This is Muschamp's desperate attempt at facing the inevitable. Maybe Muschamp will learn at his next gig (if he ever gets another crack as a HBC) is that he needs to keep his hands off the offense and that being stubborn is a crappy attribute as a head coach. He's fine with sticking with the defense. It's all the other stuff he stinks at!
Gus Johnson? Really? He has got to be the MOST ANNOYING commentator in sports. His over the top style makes me run for the remote. I can't change the channel fast enough. Thank God for the mute button!
