this is spot on. that's why being a Baylor fan is so confusing when it comes to our head coaches. we seem to be both an established good-to-elite P5 program like Oregon and a low-end program like Duke, and so it doesnt surprise me either way if Aranda ultimately leaves or stays. obvi hope he stays because there will be a power void in the new Big 12 and I believe BU can be the dominant program long term with OU gone (alongside Okla St), provided there is some consistency at the HC position, somewhat like Clemson has been (dominant team in a mid tier conference with an established coach).
