wow. great argument. Alabama has claimed all of...wait for it...2 of their 17 claimed titles where they had multiple losses/ties. Man that really sucks for them. Lost titles. Only left with 15. That's terrible. Even if you took away the ones where they lost bowl games they still got 13. But using your "they lost a bowl game so they shouldnt claim a title is ridiculously outdated. That was 50 years ago. The world was a different place so dont use today's logic to try and explain it your way. The polls had a system and Alabama was given legit titles using that system. Anyway you slice it Bama has more titles than anyone so get over yourself. Only 1941 was complete BS
Been asking that all year long. They are the 4th youngest team in the country though, with no seniors so they'll all be back, (minus sexton I'd assume) so we'll see if they improve the consistency.
Led the team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Even has two completions. In an offense that struggles to throw the ball. No other explanation, he has to be underutilized lol
Way too much talent to be that bad, even if he doesnt work out the way they hope
Let them enjoy their "moment". its the closest theyve been
AL-TN is the most "Storied" rivalry in the conference, the UM/OSU game of the south. The Iron Bowl may be a bigger deal now but nobodys putting AU/UGA over UA/UT in a SEC rivalry ranking list ever
Yea forget the fact that Mississippi state was ranked first in the country and Texas a&m had a heisman winning quarterback and finished the season ranked 5th. Forget that they were really good teams and base the games results solely on the fact that we played LSU the week before.
A team can appear on CBS 5 times in a given year by the rules of the SEC TV contracts unless they do a special case work around, which is rare. Florida will play their 5th CBS game this weekend (11/12) so they are ineligible to be chosen by CBS. Its more surprising that ESPN put the LSU/Florida game on the SEC network instead of ESPN.
You just compared Alabama to a bad Florida team that won 6 games. Not the same thing.
You've obviously never been to good Alabama night game, which the players (not fans/media) named the best environment in the conference this past summer. And if we are talking trenches, its not like Wisconsin's lines are bad and Bama crushed them. Doesn't mean Bama wins but Georgia isn't 'supposed' to win this game. Its more of a toss up than anything.
