Ohio State fell from #2 to #6 after losing to #3 Michigan. If the CFP committee is consistent, #1 UGA will certainly fall out of the top 4 if it loses to #8 Bama.
@georgiadawg, you can try to talk yourself into believing that, but reality will set in on December 2nd.
Truthfully, it is his norm. He runs away from punts every game and will prove to be a liability if he remains the punt returner.
You really don’t want Alabama to win the west?. Do you?

That’s definitely doable for LSU. 3-weeks into the season, LSU is playing like the best team in the entire conference. But, there’s still a long season ahead.
When looking at Bama’s QB situation objectively, Milroe is the best QB on the roster right now, and it’s not even close.
This is how it looks today; however, I remain hopeful that Bama will get it together and let the best players play across every unit, offensively and defensively.
Against much weaker competition, today’s QBs did not collectively produce half of the results that Milroe produced against Texas, a top 4 team.
If viewed objectively, it not even a debate who Bama’s best QB is after today’s disaster.
3-weeks in, LSU may be the best team in the SEC. Neither Georgia or Tennessee would have defeated FSU or TX. TN is getting drilled by FL, and UGA has struggled against less talented teams all season.
What the kid did was terrible, and his crime occurred in February 2023 while the he was still in HS — not enrolled at Bama. Amongst all the hate for Bama, do facts matter anymore?
Stetson Bennett was developed in junior college after he initially left UGA, before returning as a walk-on and beating out all the scholarship QBs who UGA failed to develop.
If Saban decides to take Buchner, no one knows how good or bad he’ll be with the surrounding talent he’ll have at Bama. We can all agree Notre Dame FB is not Bama FB. Based off some of these comments, Buchner to Bama is causing anxiety amongst a faithful few because in reality, he could possibly be the missing piece. No one knows for certain, and wishing for the worst outcome via this comments section just because you hate Bama won’t make the wish(es) come true.
How can anyone totally assess any of the QBs in in a controlled environment where neither can fully utilize their skillset? Neither QB did anything to separate. Some of the comments about Milroe needing to move to a new position sound very similar to comments made about Jalen Hurts before he decided not to transfer, rescued Bama in the 2018 SEC championship game, and became the highest paid player in NFL history.
Deserving or not, Bama can beat any of the playoff teams, and everyone knows it. I can’t say the same for a 1-loss Ohio State or TCU. Don’t be fooled by the inconsistent play Bama exhibited during the regular season. No one wants Bama in the playoffs because they know it minimizes their team’s chance of winning a natty.
@gwhite is being bias in your ranking. Both of TN losses were practically blowouts, including a 25 point loss to then unranked SC which is 6x the losing margin of both AL losses (4 pts total) to teams that were ranked in the top 15 at the time of the loss. Even when Bama loses, the other team really has to earn a close victory. When TN loses, they usually get dominated by the opposing team. Don’t let Bama fatigue cloud the truth. No fans of any playoff team want Bama in the playoffs because Bama can beat any of those teams despite of the inconsistent play they’ve exhibited all season.

LSU is the only team TN has played since the close call against the Gators. Even Auburn looked like an improved team versus LSU. The verdict is still out on how much TN has improved since the FL game.
Are you speaking of that UGA DB who was beat for a potential TD if the ball he picked off wasn’t under thrown or the one that was consistently dogged by a healthy J. Metchie and Jameson W.? My bad, it’s the same guy.
There is no denying Tua's physical skill set; however, can anyone trust that he currently possesses the mental makeup to execute the offense efficiently in a high pressured situation on the biggest stage or will he be a like a deer in the headlights? Advantage Jalen Hurts!
