Amen. Never enough football as far as I'm concerned!
And, as we are finding out now, the whole thing seems to be a perpetrated hoax the administration fell for. This guy was on a cleanse, not a hunger strike. Reading reports about 8 years in Columbia, professional student/activist, family net worth of $20 Million. I said over the weekend that it's likely all part of a thesis for a Ph. D in Community Organizing and I'm giving the kid an A and the Administration an F for not having the gonads to stand up for the university.
I remember the good ole days in 2003 when it was actually the school President’s wife Carmento Floyd, (wife of Elson Floyd now president at Wash. St.), who hurled racial slurs with no repercussion. “There was a scandal in 2003 when Carmento Floyd, who is black, was recorded telling a black student jailed on domestic violence charges, Ricky Clemons, that he should not date white women and referred to white women as “pink toes.” Or this gem from Mrs. Floyd: “Elson come home, every time he come home, he be like, ‘Them crackers shaking. They going crazy. They don’t know what to do. They shaking.” Now, they want to run the school President out on a rail just because he's allegedly been slow to respond.

HA! I was going to put the same one up, but didn't feel like explaining the sarcasm! : )
I think you are spot on, though still, this incident WAS a bit horrifying.
Regarding #2 above, Kentrell Brothers stuck his helmet on the football and knocked it free and then Golden recovered. Brothers deserves more credit, otherwise it's not entirely accurate.
Couldn't agree more. Always disliked the Monday night college championship. Like NYD is reserved for college, Monday seems synonymous with the NFL.
Loved the Auburn fans I interacted with at SEC title game last year.
Did Louisiana Monroe ever get that return visit from a couple years ago, too?
