Clearly, Dabo is changing the subject from the fact Clemson dosed up on PEDs, Ostarine, before the playoffs. It's easy to stay fresh when you get an illegal boost. Ask Dabo why Clemson won't release the investigation findings?
Adam, Hurst scored two touchdowns in this game. One on the Bentley pass as you described. The second on a jet sweep. That's two on the year for 2017.
I cannot believe you shlubs forgot Maria Taylor.
Never mind. You're talking about freshman. I guess I'm the idiot.
How is it you could leave off Pharoh Cooper? He was second in the SEC in receiving yardage in 2014. Plus, he brings much more to the table. Somebody is an idiot.
That makes it seem like A&M is the hold up in renewing the rivalry. I thought it was Texas that was the problem. Come on A&M. That is weak, weak, weak. We play Clemson every year. Arguably, at least right now, they are a better team than Texas. Florida plays FSU. UK plays Louisville. Georgia plays Georgia Tech. These are all marquis games that all SEC fans love. You guys need to get over it and get the game scheduled. Think about your fellow SEC fans for a change. Spurrier is right about this ... as usual. As for the Legislature, they have time to name roads after people that make big campaign donations. This is a no brainer to mandate the game ... assuming both schools are too babyish to reach an agreement between themselves.
He is really not calling out A&M as he is calling out the Texas Governor. You have to look at what SOS is saying. Do you not know Spurrier is well aware that the Texas Governor is an Aggie? Why isn't he doing something in the Texas Legislature, controlled by his own GOP party, to restore the rivalry with Texas. Spurrier is trying to help you guys by sending a signal to your Governor. Why isn't Rick Perry doing more to restore that game? Why aren't more Texans raising hell about the ending of a great rivalry? These are the questions you should consider instead of getting all in a snit about some perceived slight regarding your weak schedule. Spurrier is not the only one this off season to make that observation. Facts is facts.
Mrs Meyer is from Ohio. Naturally, she is biased in favor of the B10. If you read her remarks understanding that, she is actually complimentary. She concedes that the SEC football is more intense and that the fans love college ball more than those up in Ohio. She insinuates that the reason is professional football and that we in the south lack the distraction caused by the Browns, Steelers, or Packers.
