I appreciate the time the author put in to come up with these crazy statistics, but I'm going to have to throw my "hooey" hat on the field and say it's an attempt to attract attention with one of those commonplace "the sky is falling articles". The major factor overlooked in this analysis is the reason the current group of receivers doesn't have top five numbers is because of; drum roll please -- playing time, opportunities, reps. They weren't on the field much because all those players mentioned that are gone now were busy making their top five numbers. Also, a look at those former players will also show they didn't arrive on day one and automatically start producing -- they each had their moments when they came into their own so to speak. Shoot, JJ didn't make a splash until last season. Personally I think we're loaded with highly talented weapons and lots of speed. These guys are going to excel now that they'll have their "opportunity". Coach Smart was also wise to bring in some experience to plug some gaps with Cager and Wolf. Fromm will have lots of time to throw and the Dawgs will be an offensive juggernaut once again. If opponents blitz like Texas did -- we'll just dump it off to Swift or Cook out of the backfield. Relax, sit back and get ready to enjoy watching some great talent come into their own this season. It's going to be fun to watch. Go Dawgs!
