What could SEC division realignment look like with Oklahoma and Texas? Let’s break it down
I would have Florida and Texas as permanent cross-division rivals. No offense to lsu but Florida and Texas are a better fir. Flagship schools in two of the three largest states for D1 prospects. Academically elite for the conference (UF just ahead of UT). Lsu academically is clearly a notch, probably two below. TV networks would love it because you are getting two of the most populous states playing annually so more eyeballs. Put lsu against Alabama (assuming Alabama and auburn move to the East and both Texas and Oklahoma stay out West) as it would make more sense to keep that rivalry than Florida lsu. Just my two cents.
