Just who is Jim Tomlin and why hasn't he kept up with the SEC coming into this season?
You are obviously an Ole Miss fan who's seeing a twist, grab and driving of the ankle in the ground, correct? Might it just be someone who's trying to keep a player down like all lineman are taught to do? I think their coach is teaching them good fundamentals as is ours but we might have not drawn quite as much "ire" as we'll receive from a 76-3 score....I know, I know...we're just that good, right?!? Waterboy in the game, etc., etc., I'm disappointed but never let us say someone ran it up on us in the near future. Hopefully, they want be able to!
That may be so but there is nothing in this video that indicates dirty play...they're not in a tea cup race out there!
What are we supposed to be seeing here? Has the "poster" not captured the video intended?
Imposing prayer on someone is what the wars of today in the middle-east and around the world are justified as being about. But here, in the USA, you have the right of the individual. You can pray with the Chaplain if you so please or you cannot. Is not prayer between you and your God anyhow? A group prayer still ultimately comes down to the individual...if you aren't praying he won't hear you no matter the motions you go through... The coach can ask the Chaplain to pray for his team if he so pleases, he is in charge and has that right. There is no war and I have heard of no discipline by any coach if someone chooses not to pray; there is nothing other than what some young men might feel is "peer pressure". Surely, most young men have enough social skills to survive in an environment that is not conducive to their wishes for short periods of time just so they can survive! Most men have learned this as a result of being married and being forced to go on shopping trips with their wives! As difficult a time as a team prayer may be to some who do not worship, I hope it is a only a minor struggle that forms young men in our country to consider others and see life from perspectives that they will need to going forward and with a conscience that will help them comprehend our global society. Surely they know if it is more than an individual decision that they are struggling with if they are being forced and that they have the right to reach out to other authority! I sincerely hope they don't jump on a plane to join those that also are unable to cope as an individual in our society and feel the need to belong to something greater that is the manipulation of religious ideals for a selective few who have the ability to fulfill their own egos' need by influencing those that are in need of guidance and willing to listen that they must harm others. Is it not our generation that has failed our youth by our own greed if they cannot cope? People, not possessions are the treasure, enrichment of life and true measure of "being rich" that we have lost along the way. We have created this problem, it is here among us and we need to reach out and change...the fact that the FFRF even exists tells me all I need to know; there's a group of people who aren't comfortable with themselves so they need to congregate and pick on organizations collectively that made them feel inadequate individually. Don't get mad at them, try to be a friend to someone you see feeling like an outcast and let's don't let "Foundations" like FFRF even become desirable.
