I don't know if he was always out of position or not but he was not going to be a starter with Pili back and Carter with a year of experience. And it sounds like he was passed in spring practice by Telander as well, and if the spring game is any indication it appears that Spillman may have passed him as well so he was possibly looking at not being in the 2 deep or sharing playing time at best... Anywho wish him luck he's a local Tennessee guy and should be a solid starter if he finds the right situation...

Watching GA up 42-3 at halftime over FL State and thinking GA would probably beat any of the teams in the playoffs on any given day. I mean it's ridiculous. Obviously FSU didn't deserve to get in. Bummer for KY. This season would have a much different feel to it if they coulda brought home that W. But instead they finish with that 3 point loss. Yup... Well it would be nice if we could at least be competitive in these losses. We were still in the Bama game into the 4th quarter... These last 2 weeks have been ugly. 17 points...

Vol fans gripe with Milton is that he is still making the same mistakes week in and week out. Aside from some accuracy issues (which he has been getting better at) he just has no touch. Every ball he throws is a rocket fastball. Which is why his receivers seem to drop so many passes. On top of that when he runs the ball he is very indecisive. He doesn't have that killer instinct of taking the team on his back and winning a game. And then he just slips over to the sidelines and cracks jokes while we r losing by 20+ points. Some of that is on Joe, but at some point we just have to understand that that is who he is. Which, actually tells me that it's on Heupel. Heupel's propensity for coach speak is maddening. He says the same thing after each loss. Sometimes players need to be called out. And if your QB isn't producing, why not give someone else a shot? I don't get it...

Wow I'm surprised the Vols are still ranked. I suppose 3 of our losses are against top 10 teams, but none of those losses were particularly competitive... Whatever I'll take it I guess...

Yeah this is about as dumb of an article, or advertisement or whatever... Any team can beat any other team on any given day... It's all been said no more talking to do just get out on the field and give it your best. Hopefully the lack of pressure (as in no one expects TN to compete) will allow the good guys to play loose. And ya never know, maybe a couple turnovers.... But no, I'm not putting any money on it..

Ole Miss lost to GA and Bama while Mizzou lost to GA and LSU correct? And the common opponent LSU was a W for Ole Miss and an L for Mizzou... Seems like Ole Miss has the better loss, even tho one was a blowout. I'm not saying this because I'm salty against Mizzou they are legit good. But seems to me like their rankings should be very similar. Guessing Mizzou has better wins? I guess they got it about right but nothing wrong with Ole Miss losing to Bama
