No..... I’d say JG’s awful play is what has held us back and will continue to hold us back from being relevant. He is not even an average QB, but it’s not his fault the coaches haven’t brought a grad transfer in or recruited over him by year 3.

Branndon Stewart was also among that group. While he doesn't have those accomplishments, he did transfer to Texas A & M and played in back-to-back Big 12 Championship games in 97-98. The 2nd of which was their only Big 12 championship game won while in the conference.
