This truly was a pathetic flop. I'm embarrassed by this. To me, it looked like they were about to call it anyway. But there is absolutely no need to sell something like that. Ever. Truly unacceptable.
I completely agree. I get nervous every time Medley gets up to kick a field goal (even that extra point). But yes, he is getting better and getting his accuracy back. As far as the play calling, it's almost better that we go down early in the game so that we don't use conservative play calling. When we're down, the play calling is usually very good with a few bad play calls here and there. But, like we have seen multiple times throughout this season, when we go up early, we start to use the same plays over and over again and never have big plays like you see when we're down. So I agree, conservative play calling is a huge flaw for Tennessee.
The number 17 is just a curse for Tennessee this season. 17-3, blew that lead. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we were a 17 point favorite in this game. And it has been 17 years since the last time we won a national championship. Every time I see that number, I get sick.
I'd certainly love to see Dormady get a few passes in during this game. He needs to get as much experience as he can get.
How about adding "Field Goals" to Tennessee
Tennessee is certainly playing good football now. And have been all season. With 2 heartbreak losses to Oklahoma and Florida, an unexpected close loss to Alabama, and a poorly played game against Arkansas, Tennessee was hurt in the first half of the season. Tennessee is definitely favored in that last few games of the season, but they cannot take it lightly. I am worried they'll go in to these next few games thinking they've already won. If we played like we did against Alabama and Kentucky, then I have no doubt they'll win out. They just can't let up.
Sorry, but yes it does matter. It's a very simple thing. It is very easy to know the difference between you're and your. Maybe get it right next time and you won't have to worry about people correcting you.
