I think the oranges were in relation to UT-Orange color. Better to bring oranges to a game than an Orange Crush soda--particularly if they are gonna be thrown on the field--which in itself is pretty poor behavior by whomever throws it. Why someone wants to throw anything at a player or onto the field is beyond my comprehension. Makes no sense at all. Its a freakin game.

What a shame that a few hundred has caused the football nation to look poorly upon the entire UT fan base. Punishment for their actions? Hmmm--who knows what will happen or what would be fair. A monetary punishment--not likely to cause a problem for UT--Pockets are deep, just like a lot of other schools that pay the fine(s) for poor actions. Now, how about a meaningful penalty--move the Ga. game from UT to Athens--that would cause an uproar in Knoxville, but it may plant a seed that the fans behavior will have consequences--just like in day to day decisions in everyday life.

Just curious rgo606, have you ever been to Coastal Carolina University and seen their facilities? Also, which community colleges have better facilities? I would like to know and perhaps visit them.
