It looks like Leath is in way over his head and is trying to fix the mistake he made with the contract even if it hurts the team. Money aside, either stick with Gus and let him make changes to try to win or fire him outright. Unfair to Gus and the fan base to hurt the future of the program to save face and be able to make a change next year. Why would a recruit come where the coach is being set up to be fired in the future and has no control over staff. Fire Leath.
