I just want to point out the substance of your posts on this thread...I see "It will be a win" and "UK Sucks". Now, I'm all for fun, competitive pre-game jabber and talk...but this is just ludicrous. You sound like a 5th grader...I challenge you step your rhetoric up a level, and provide some evidence that this UK team sucks.
I for one think this will be a competitive and fun game to watch. I honestly wouldn’t be any more surprised if UK wins than I would be if State wins. This will be a true road test for the visiting team, and should present unique challenges for them compared to what they’ve seen from teams so far this season. This is also a much different UK team than State has faced in the past. Two things that tell me UK is turning the corner and getting to the next level; we finally expelled the ghosts of Florida, farily deciviely, in Gainesville, no less...and we completely handled a team we should have in week 3. In the past, we allowed those games to stay close. Heck, take away the 1st half in game one, and we've basically controlled every game we've played. This is in no fashion comparable to what past UK teams have been. I expect the stadium to be electric Saturday night, which could also play a factor. Week 4 will be a good barometer to see where both of these teams are right now. I think UK has a slight edge due to playing at home, as well as momentum and motivation unseen at UK in recent years.

Yeah, I don't understand the logic in UK's position on this list either. As a matter of fact, if you look at the new top 25 coaches poll, UK is higher than the the first 5 teams in front of them on these power rankings, and comes in 28th nationally. I'm not going to say the coaches poll is a completely fair assessment either, but what really hurts UK right now is simply that they are UK...they have a reputation preceding them. However, you can't ignore the fact that ugly or not, they are winning, and that's what they haven't been able to do in the past. However, until they prove they can finish off a season, this is the respect they get. Going 12-4 in their last 16 regular season games apparently doesn't indicate anything to some people. Also, lets not forget, KY was already down their best defensive player going into the Missouri game, and got pretty banged up in the process going without 2 of their next top defensive players for much of the Missouri game, and Missouri was coming off of their bye week. KYs bye week is coming at a very opportune time, and there is a real chance they could return for the rest of their season to prove a lot of their doubters wrong.
