Alyssa Lang is among the many SEC alumni who cover the conference for the SEC Network. On Monday, she paid up on a bet with a colleague after her alma mater came up short.
Lang did the Gator chomp on Monday’s “SEC This Morning.” The South Carolina alumna said she made a bet with fellow SEC Network co-host Chris Doering, a Gator great. Florida defeated South Carolina 41-39 this past Saturday.

Lang has been with the SEC Network since 2018. She is one of the network’s “SEC Now” hosts and also serves as the co-host of “Out of Pocket.” Lang also works as a sideline reporter for SEC Network games. She was on the call Saturday for Florida’s thrilling win at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Lang may have had more than one friendly bet on the Florida-South Carolina game. In May 2022, she announced her engagement to Trevor Sikkema, a UF alumnus who covers the NFL Draft for Pro Football Focus.
Florida is on a bye in Week 8 while South Carolina travels to the other Columbia to face Mizzou at 3:30 p.m. ET.
