Florida cornerback Devin Moore didn’t play in the Gators’ latest game, a 24-17 win over Missouri. The true freshman and former 4-star recruit had appeared in every game in 2022 before being sidelined against the Tigers.

On Monday, head coach Billy Napier provided an injury update for Moore, who hadn’t been on the Wednesday injury report prior to being ruled out on Saturday. Fortunately, it doesn’t sound as if it’s anything long-term, with Napier saying that Moore had been “a little banged up late in practice”.

“He’ll be kind of a work in progress this week, but he re-aggravated an injury from the past and one that made him unavailable for the game (against Missouri),” Napier said, according to On3.

The Gators have won 2 straight and now turn their attention to an LSU team that suffered a blowout loss at home to Tennessee. After that is the open week, followed by the always-anticipated Cocktail Party game against Georgia in Jacksonville.
