No. 1 Alabama faces its first big SEC test of the 2021 season traveling to face No. 11 Florida on Saturday. ESPN’s Chris Fowler recently shared his thoughts on the game during a Zoom call with reporters

“I wouldn’t expect Alabama to stumble in there,” Fowler said, per Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times. “But I also don’t give anybody the W going into The Swamp automatically.”

Fowler said The Swamp environment could become a factor if the Florida defense can get to Alabama QB Bryce Young.

“If Florida’s defense can be nasty and aggressive and force him to think quicker than he has been and force him to react and make it tough on the offense, I think the environment can certainly play a part,” Fowler said.

The Gators are two-touchdown underdogs going into the game, and have 4 takeaways in the past two games while averaging 3.5 sacks a game as well.
