The Florida Gators are putting together a solid 2020 recruiting class (No. 5 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247Sports), but they’re also looking ahead to 2021.

However, on Saturday, it was announced that their talented 2021 class had taken a big hit, in the form of 4-star ATH Kamar Wilcoxson.

As you can see below, Wilcoxson — a Georgia native — announced via Twitter that he was decommitting from the Florida program:

The Gators still have five players in their 2021 class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.

According to the 247Sports rankings, Wilcoxson is the No. 23 athlete in the class of 2021 and the No. 20 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
