Elite in-state 2020 defensive tackle announces commitment to Florida

The Florida Gators hosted Junior Day on Saturday, and it paid immediate dividends for their 2020 recruiting class.
That’s because they landed a talented 4-star in-state defensive linemen to their class, picking up a commitment from Johnnie Brown.
As you can see below, Brown announced his decision to commit to the Gators via Twitter on Saturday afternoon:

Per the 247Sports composite, Brown is the No. 7 defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
Brown is the eighth player in the Gators’ 2020 class, which currently ranks No. 3 in the SEC and No. 3 in the nation, per 247Sports.
