Florida assistant lands new position with Gus Malzahn’s UCF staff

After a year in Gainesville, Kelvin Bolden is off to Orlando. Bolden announced Thursday that he has joined Gus Malzahn’s UCF staff.
Bolden tweeted a graphic showing he will be Director of Recruiting Relations and a wide receiver assistant with the Knights. The move comes 2 weeks after Central Florida defeated Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl.

Bolden joined the Florida program in 2021 after spending 2020 at Southern Miss, his alma mater, as an off-field staffer promoted to wide receivers coach during the season. Bolden held the title of Assistant Director of Player Personnel on Dan Mullen’s staff in 2021. For 2 seasons, he was a grad assistant at Arkansas (2018-19) working with Razorback wide receivers.
