Now that the college basketball season has come to an unceremonious end, many NCAA players are evaluating their futures.

On Monday, the Florida Gators became the latest team to have a player enter the NCAA transfer portal.

According to college basketball insider Jeff Goodman, Dontay Bassett has entered his name in the portal and will explore his options for leaving Florida:

Bassett was a junior forward this past season. He appeared in 17 games, averaging 1.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per contest.

Now, the native of Oakland, California, will explore his options for more playing time. Where will he end up? We’ll find out over the next few months.
