Florida dealing with slew of injuries ahead of SEC Championship Game
As if facing No. 1 Alabama wasn’t a huge challenge in itself, No. 15 Florida will still be missing a large group of key players for this Saturday’s SEC Championship Game.
Gators coach Jim McElwain outlined his team’s injuries during a Monday news conference, detailing a list that has seemingly grown longer every week.

Florida will be without key players on both sides of the ball.
Pass-rusher Jordan Sherit (who will require surgery to repair a knee injury), linebacker Jarrad Davis and defensive back Jeawon Taylor are all out, while defensive lineman Bryan Cox and defensive back Nick Washington are “probably out.”
The offensive line is banged up as well: Cam Dillard is out, and Martez Ivey will be limited. McElwain said he will have further updates on receiver Ahmad Fulwood and defensive back Duke Dawson on Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide (12-0, 8-0) and Gators (8-3, 6-2) will clash at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday in Atlanta.
