When 4-star WR Jacob Copeland picked the Florida Gators on Wednesday, not everyone was thrilled by his decision.

Sitting on Copeland’s right at his National Signing Day ceremony was his mother, who was decked out in Alabama and Tennessee gear when her son put on a Florida hat.

After he did, she walked off the stage before eventually returning to give him a hug. However, Copeland tweeted on Wednesday evening that there aren’t any hard feelings in the family:

One could argue that Copeland’s mom took the attention away from her son on his special day, but if he’s OK with it, then it’s not a big deal.

The important thing is he’ll be going to Gainesville next year, and coach Dan Mullen and the Gators couldn’t be happier.
