Treyaun Webb, a 6-foot-1 and 205-pound 4-star running back out of Jacksonville, Florida, (Trinity Christian Academy) has announced a commitment to play in the SEC.

Webb committed to Florida the same afternoon that the Gators flipped former Penn State 4-star QB commit Marcus Stokes. He is ranked the No. 5 running back in the class of 2023, and the No. 33 player in the Sunshine State, according to the 247Sports Composite. Webb has a reported 46 offers, including the likes of Penn State, Georgia, Oklahoma and Alabama.

“They’re a great staff,” Webb told Gator Country. “They have a great championship mindset, great people and they’re passionate about doing what’s best for their players and make it feel like a family. They practice what they preach and they’re high tempo guys.”

Napier and running backs coach Jabbar Juluke explained to Webb during his first visit to Gainesville that the Gators want to keep the top players from the state instate for college.

“He said that they need me and that I’m a priority for them,” Webb said on the message from Juluke to him during the visit. “He said they’re going to put a fence around the state of Florida so that none of the top talent leave the state. They feel like with all of the Florida guys on the roster that they can go win a Natty.”
