Georgia is one step closer to finishing the program’s 2026 nonconference slate as the Bulldogs are now set to host Western Kentucky looking ahead to the 2026 season.

The Bulldogs will host the Hilltoppers on Sept. 12, 2026, according to Western Kentucky. Georgia now needs only one game to finalize its nonconference schedule for the 2026 season.

“We always seek to compete against the best, and there’s no doubt that traveling to Georgia and playing in that kind of environment is a tremendous and exciting challenge,” Director of Athletics Todd Stewart said in a statement. “The state of Georgia is a recruiting hotbed and strong focus for our coaching staff, so this is a significant opportunity for everyone involved. We’re also very pleased to face one of the nation’s top programs in a regional matchup that will allow our fans to travel with us and support the program, which is always one of our key factors when scheduling future games.”

This will be Western Kentucky’s second all-time meeting against Georgia. The Bulldogs won that matchup in 2006 48-12.

Following this news, Georgia now has three nonconference games scheduled for the 2026 season, all of which are home games. vs. UCLA on Sept. 5, vs. Western Kentucky on Sept. 12 and vs. Georgia Tech on Nov. 28.
