Georgia commits take shots at Alabama
A couple Georgia recruits for 2017 are casting light on the recent trend of Tuscaloosa commits leaving for Athens.
Georgia pledge Richard LeCounte III, a four-star safety prospect for 2017, tweeted this out on Tuesday in wake of Netori Johnson’s commitment to the Bulldogs earlier this afternoon. Johnson, the No. 4 offensive guard in the class, was previously committed to Alabama.
The other two former Alabama commits to flip to Georgia are 2017 four-star QB Jake Fromm and 2016 three-star WR Tyler Simmons.

Meanwhile, 2016 signee and five-star athlete Mecole Hardman Jr., responded to LeCounte with this.

It’ll be interesting to see if first-year Georgia coach Kirby Smart continues his success in luring recruits away from Alabama, where he served as defensive coordinator under Nick Saban since he arrived in Tuscaloosa.
