Georgia suffers decommitment from elite 2025 offensive lineman, per report
Georgia had one of its 2025 commits in Micah DeBose reportedly change his mind as of Friday.
DeBose is a 4-star offensive tackle out of Mobile (Ala.) C.F. Vigor High School. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 4 OT and No. 3 prospect out of Alabama in the class. He weighs in at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds and had been committed to Georgia since January.
A host of teams from around the country are currently competing for DeBose. SEC teams like Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M have offered him.

DeBose offers his talents in many sports outside of just football. He also plays basketball and competes in track and field for his high school.
DeBose was the only offensive lineman pledged to the Bulldogs before decommitting on Friday. Georgia now has 6 commitments in the 2025 cycle.
