Georgia unveils new indoor facility to players: ‘This baby’s lit, now’

Georgia continues to proceed with its facility upgrades, and this week, the Bulldogs unveiled the latest development to its new indoor facility to players.
It’s been a multi-step process that started in 2019 when Georgia approved the $80 million expansion, which includes a locker room, new players’ lounge, new coaches’ offices and a recruiting lounge.
This is the latest step in what has been an incremental shift since coach Kirby Smart took over. That includes a new locker room at Sanford Stadium, along with a new lounge to host recruits. And a new video board has also been included among the football program’s recent building projects.
The facility is obviously designed to lure recruits to Athens, and keep up with the ever-increasing college football arms race. By the looks of the reaction from Georgia players, it appears it’s exactly what the players are looking for in a facility.
