Rian Davis is the latest Georgia player to depart for the transfer portal, according to reports.
Multiple outlets report that Davis, Bear Alexander and Shone Washington have entered their names into the NCAA transfer portal, allowing them to be contacted by other schools. Alexander and Washington’s decisions to enter the portal had previously been reported.
Georgia ILB Rian Davis has entered the transfer portal. A backup the past three years, 15 tackles in 14 games last year, clearly a playing time issue with the room so full.
DL Bear Alexander and DL Shone Washington, previously confirmed to be leaving, have officially portaled.

Out of Apopka, Florida, Davis has been with the Dawgs since the 2019 season. He played in 23 games.
Davis dealt with numerous injuries in his UGA career, playing in 9 games over his first 3 seasons, with 7 of those appearances coming during the 2020 campaign. In 2022, he played in 14 games, recording 15 tackles.
