JT Daniels hasn’t played for Georgia since a Sept. 25 win over Vanderbilt.

Since then, it has been backup QB Stetson Bennett IV’s show, and he’s kept the 7-0 Bulldogs humming along. Now, the Dawgs have an off week ahead of the Cocktail Party showdown against Florida in Jacksonville on Oct. 30.

Will Daniels be ready to go by then? On Tuesday, coach Kirby Smart met with the media and discusses Daniels’ status. Smart said Daniels is throwing more in practice:

Obviously, the Bulldogs haven’t fared poorly under Bennett, so there’s no rush for Daniels to come back.

So far this season, in 3 games, Daniels has thrown for 567 yards, 5 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
