Photo: UGA QB Jacob Eason is seen wearing Packers gear at Falcons game
Someone might want to remind Georgia QB Jacob Eason that the flagship NFL team within the state is the Atlanta Falcons.
During Sunday’s playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Green Bay Packers, the UGA signal-caller was shown watching the game in the stands.
However, he wasn’t wearing Falcons’ garb:

Eason is instead wearing an old Brett Favre Green Bay jersey. Without any inside information on the fashion choice, one could assume Eason being a fan of Favre dating back to his childhood.
It makes sense — considering both Favre and Eason are gunslingers from the pocket.
As long as he remembers what jersey he wears on Saturdays in the fall, I don’t care what he wears.
Somebody give the kid a few bucks for a haircut, starting to look like carrot top.
If he’s a Favre fan and a college freshman, maybe he just couldn’t afford a vintage Favre/Falcons jersey. Of course, let’s not forget that the Georgia “G” was chosen as homage by Vince Dooley who was a Packers fan. Or, worst case, the guy from Washington cheers for an NFL team that isn’t from 3,000 miles away from his home town.
Freshman mistake but be careful. And I agree, get a haircut.
