After spending his first 4 years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, former Georgia star Leonard Floyd spent 2020 with the Los Angeles Rams.

In 2020, he recorded 10.5 sacks and 55 tackles — both career highs. It seems the Rams want to keep him around.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Rams are giving Floyd a 4-year, $64 million contract as a free agent this offseason:

Floyd benefitted from playing alongside DL Aaron Donald, one of the most destructive defensive linemen in the NFL.

Now, we’ll see if Floyd can continue playing at a high level. The former No. 9 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft still has a long career ahead of him if he keeps performing like he did in 2020.
