After leading Georgia to a national championship last season, quarterback Stetson Bennett will long be remembered as a football hero in Athens.

The 5-11, 190-pound former walk-on is back for one more season with the Bulldogs, and during his media availability Monday, he made headlines for reasons far different than his ability to throw a football.

More specifically, Bennett revealed that a key component of his pre-game ritual is a song that might catch many by surprise: “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat.

Given the ups and downs that Bennett has endured during his career, it’s doubtful that he’s too concerned about what others think of his playlist. But really, who saw that coming?

A year ago, Bennett passed for 2,862 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.

He and his Georgia teammates begin their national title defense on Saturday in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game in Atlanta against No. 11 Oregon.

The game is set to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET, and will be televised by ABC. No. 3 Georgia is currently a 17-point favorite.
