It’s a busy day of free-agent signings in the NBA, and Malik Monk is joining the festivities.

Woj shared Tuesday afternoon that Monk is signing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Monk was selected No. 11 overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2017 NBA Draft. He spent the past four seasons with the Hornets as a bench contributor, playing in 233 games with one start. Monk has averaged 17.8 minutes per game over his career. His minutes increased to over 20 (21.3, 20.9) the past two seasons. Monk’s scoring has also gone up to double-digits the last two seasons as he has averaged 10.3 and 11.7 points per game.

We’ll see how Monk fits in with LeBron James and company out on the west coast.
