Kentucky’s 2019-20 season got off to a great start with a 69-62 over No. 1 Michigan State in the State Farm Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden. Since then, however, John Calipari’s squad has had some ups and downs. There was the shocking home loss to the University of Evansville on Nov. 12 in Rupp Arena and now back-to-back losses in Las Vegas to Utah and Ohio State.

The rough patch has led to some frustration in Big Blue Nation. UK football assistant Vince Marrow recently attempted to calm Wildcats fans down. In a recent appearance on BBN Radio, Marrow told the Kentucky faithful, “Cal will get this thing going, I can’t wait to sit back and see it. I think it’s going to be a good team. … BBN, let’s chill out a little bit and follow this basketball team.”

More from Marrow can be heard on the podcast, linked in the embedded tweet below:

Calipari’s Cats return to the hardwood on Dec. 28 to face in-state rival Louisville. Marrow and Mark Stoops’ troops will face Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 31.
