Kentucky basketball held its annual UK Pro Day on Wednesday night. The yearly event allows NBA scouts to get an up-and-close look at the Wildcats’ team before the season starts.

If the purpose of the event is to showcase the Wildcats to the pros, then mission accomplished. Per ESPN, 52 scouts were in attendance at Rupp Arena Wednesday, representing all 30 NBA teams.

It makes sense that the school that has produced the most NBA players ever would have a huge attendance at a pro day. Top prospects Aaron Bradshaw Ugonna Onyenso are undoubtedly 2 of the more interesting prospects on the team. Croatian big man Zvonomir Ivisic is another player likely to garner NBA interest.

Bradshaw and Onyenso both participated in shootaround, but did not partake in drills.

The Wildcats are seeking to improve from a 3rd-place SEC finish in 2022-23. Last year’s team made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament before being bounced by Kansas State. The Wildcats are kicking off the 2023-24 season on November 6 against New Mexico State.
