The Kentucky Wildcats made a statement with a convincing 59-14 victory over UT Martin in Saturday’s season opener, leaving the Cats feeling pretty good about themselves in the aftermath.

More than a few of the players took to Twitter Saturday night and Sunday morning to share their excitement with the fan base.

Offensive coordinator Neal Brown was more than pleased with his team’s 59-point effort, but he made sure to thank the fans after the game:
