Dakorien Moore represented a massive recruiting win for Brian Kelly and LSU with his commitment on Aug. 12. If he ultimately signs with the Tigers, he’ll present the potential to become a star wide receiver in the SEC.

Moore, on Friday night, put his ability on full display as his Duncanville (Tex.) team was on the SMU campus in Fort Worth to face Dallas (Tex.) South Oak Cliff in the season opener for both teams. Take a look below as he caught a screen pass and took it 79 yards to the end zone:

For the night, Moore totaled 281 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches, including an 89-yard score.

According to 247Sports’ composite ranking, Moore is the No. 11 player in the country in the class of 2025 and the No. 3 wide receiver. With two more high school seasons to go, it’s not out of the realm of possibility to see him climb within the top 10 come his senior year in 2024.
