LSU will be without one of its important pieces along the offensive line for spring practice.
During his spring press conference, Ed Orgeron announced that left tackle Dare Rosenthal has left school for personal reasons. However, there is some good news in that he’s expected to return to school and be back with the team this summer.
Coming off of a spectacular 2019 national championship season, LSU’s offensive line loses 4 starters — Lloyd Cushenberry, Saahdig Charles, Damien Lewis and Adrian Magee, and Rosenthal is expected to start at left tackle in 2020.
With Rosenthal out this spring, Orgeron said that Cameron Wire will receive the most first-team reps at left tackle. Thomas Perry will also receive first-team snaps, too.
The redshirt freshman rising sophomore Rosenthal started 3 games in 2019 — Northwestern State, Utah State and Mississippi State.
