Over the weekend, LSU added three commitments after hosting an OL/DL camp in Baton Rouge. Each of those commitments is worth celebrating, but one of the most important commitments came on Monday afternoon to kick off the week.

Tyrion Davis, who is rated a 4-star running back in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports, pledged himself to the Tigers and became the seventh member of LSU’s 2019 class. According to The Advocate’s Ross Dellenger, Davis received an excited reaction from Ed Orgeron after telling him of his commitment.

The recruiting process can involve a lot of flattery from coaches, but having the head coach of an SEC program start thanking God and proclaiming that one recruit’s commitment is another Father’s Day gift has got to feel pretty amazing.

Davis is rated the No. 17 running back in the Class of 2019 and the No. 9 prospect in the state of Louisianna by 247Sports.
