A fan at the LSU game against Southern casually walked on the field during the game, and then wrestled with police officers as they took him into custody.

The man, who wore an LSU T-shirt, appeared to be surprised that he couldn’t, in fact, stay on the field as the game progressed.

As for the game, LSU led 51-0 at halftime, as Jayden Daniels was 10-for-11 passing for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns. Malik Nabers led LSU with 3 catches for 81 yards and a touchdown.

It was a historic game for Southern, as Brian Kelly appeared set to capture his first victory with the Tigers, who looked to improve after the shocking loss to Florida State, which came after a blocked extra point with no time left, 24-23 in New Orleans.

Southern, the historically Black university, only traveled across town, but most importantly, the 2 Baton Rouge schools had never met on the field.
