LSU safety Grant Delpit fell to the Cleveland Browns with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday.

Part of this issue? Some teams were concerned about Delpit’s tackling after an ankle injury limited his effectiveness in 2019.

However, Delpit is sick of that storyline, and he let one reporter hear it in hilarious fashion, as you can see in the video below:

“I’m so tired of hearing that I can’t tackle. I might tackle you for asking that question,” Delpit laughed. “I had a high ankle sprain in the middle of the season — Week 7 or Week 8. It was tough. Sunday mornings, I could barely walk. … I wasn’t going to let that sprained ankle keep me off the field.”

Sounds like the Browns are getting a determined player in Delpit, who is eager to prove he should have been a Round 1 pick.
