Honeymoon over? LSU fans turning on DC Bo Pelini as Mizzou lights up the scoreboard
Remember when LSU coach Ed Orgeron said this offseason that LSU was better on defense now than it was at any point during its magical 2019 title run?
Well, let’s just say those quotes aren’t aging well as new defensive coordinator Bo Pelini’s defense struggles against Mizzou.
The game was tied 24-24 at halftime, and now the score is 38-31 in the third quarter with LSU leading.

It’s clear LSU fans were expecting better from their defense. The honeymoon seems to be over for Pelini in his second stint in Baton Rouge.
