The College Football Playoff title game is on Monday night in New Orleans, and it will be a QB matchup for the ages.

On one side, you have Heisman-winning LSU QB Joe Burrow. On the other, you have Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence, who led his team to a title last year.

So, who has the edge? ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit said he’d give a slight advantage to Burrow in this game (via 247Sports):

“I think it could be a which QB-has-the-ball-last type thing so I don’t want to make it seem like I would choose one over the other. But I would give the slight edge to Joe Burrow because how consistent their offense has been this year. Auburn is the only team with the 3-1-7 scheme to show them something. They created lot of different looks and disguised things.

“Burrow feels if you give him the same look or he knows what you’re in, you have no shot. In 30 years of playing and calling games, I’ve never seen a QB executing at the level of Joe Burrow this year.”

Whatever happens in New Orleans, it should be a lot of fun to watch when each offense has the ball.

Which defense can make the most plays? We’ll find out soon.
