With nothing to gain, LSU coach Les Miles finally decided to remove Leonard Fournette from the game.

That was the scene Saturday in Houston, Texas, as the Tigers and Texas Tech Red Raiders experienced some rodeo fun.

Whether it was roping a calf or chasing around some other animal, the Tigers coach made it clear that Leonard Fournette was not to participate. Fournette figures to be the primary option in Tuesday night’s Texas Bowl as the Red Raiders feature one of the worst rushing defenses in the NCAA.

Fournette wasn’t forced to sit in the stands, however. The coaching staff did allow him to participate in a goofy dance, cowboy hat on his head.
