LSU went down 20-0 to Auburn in the first half, but managed to claw all the way back to take down its SEC East foe 27-23 at Tiger Stadium.

Trailing 23-21, LSU kicked a field goal to take a 24-23 lead, which it would never relinquish en route to a big win.

Freshman K Connor Culp made the go-ahead kick, and after the game, Culp was still riding high, saying everything went black in his mind after he saw it go through the uprights:

The 20-point comeback was the biggest at Tiger Stadium since at least 1949, so it’s understandable that coach Ed Orgeron’s squad was excited.

LSU has now won its last two SEC games in exciting fashion, holding off Florida at The Swamp last week before coming from behind against Auburn this week.

The Tigers face Ole Miss next weekend before a bye week. Then it’s a very difficult road trip to Tuscaloosa to take on No. 1 Alabama.
